Subject: CMUCL on UltraSPARC?

I am trying to run CMUCL version 17f on a Sun Ultra 2 (2 X UltraSPARC
200MHz) but I get the runtime memory fault error:

	segv_handler: No mapping fault: 0x00978024
segv_handler: Recursive no mapping fault (stack overflow?)

I am using the binary distribution for Solaris. The error must be be
caused due to architecture incompatibilities between the 4{c,m} and 4u
architectures.

I am not a CMUCL programmer and my Lisp programming experience is
poor. I just want to use CMUCL to run a tool written for CL. Has
anybody ported CMUCL to the sun4u architecture? Is it easy for me to
recompile CMUCL to Ultra Sparc from the source code?

Regards,

Marcos
