Quick Question:

	I know, I know. It defeats the whole ideal of LISP, but I'm 
looking for native implementation of basic socket creation and io using 
LISP. Though I'm looking primarily for one on Macintosh, any platform 
will do, since it's more a building block in a proof-of-concept-thing 
then a necessary element in a cut-throat-project-thing. I'm not too 
familiar with the whole compiled Lisp ordeal, so I'd rather stick to 
interrpreted LISP for this if at all possible, though beggers can't be 
choosers. This may sound odd to some, though I don't think it's out of 
the question... people have been doing some rather odd things on UNIX 
(e.g) for longer than I have been alive :) . Please write me at
