I made an error in the Web URL: it should be http://www.omg.org/ow/cbcoloc.htm
not as posted in the text below.

Also, the Dynamic Objects Workshop is posted at:

------
To the readers of the Lisp newsgroups:

The Association of Lisp Users is sponsoring a program at Object
World East in Boston, Sunday May 5 through Thursday May 9. We are
sponsoring it under the name of Dynamic Objects with the aim of
promoting Common Lisp, CLOS and related language technology. This
program replaces this year's LUV Conference.

We have put together a great program, including tutorials and speakers
such as Howie Shrobe of MIT and ARPA and Dick Gabriel of Stanford and
ParcPlace Systems (formerly of Lucid). Olivier Clarisse has also
been organising a series of evening workshops with paper presentations,
available to anyone with an Exhibits pass.

All the Common Lisp vendors, including Franz, Harlequin and Digitool will be
there. The respective company Presidents: Fritz Kunze of Franz, Jo Marks
of Harlequin and Hazen Sayed of Digitool will talk about the future.

You can check out the full program for yourself by going to the Web URL
http://www.omg.org/ow/coloc.htm and looking it over. You can register
direct with Object World East by navigating to the Object World home page.
Dynamic Objects Events on Sunday and Monday are identified by the CL code.
Alternatively you can call (508) 820-4300.

Attending this program is a great way to meet other Lisp users, see
what's happening and check out the mainstream at the rest of the show.

Come and see what's happening!

the Association of Lisp Users (ALU), including (in random order):
Jim Veitch, Peter Norvig, John Mallery, Richard Gabriel,
Howard Shrobe, Chris Maeda, Kelly Murray, Hazem Sayed, Fritz Kunze,
Jo Marks, and many more...

REGISTRATION:

There are over 3 joint events at Object World this year,
so things can get a bit confusing. Two events are organized with
the ALU (Association of Lisp Users - as the former LUV conferences):

1. The Dynamic Object Workshop DOW-96, 3 evening sessions.
2. The Dynamic Object Event DOW, tutorials and panels,
   Sunday Monday and some evenings.
3. The core conference program at Object World East.

To register at DOE and/or DOW96, you DO need contact
Object World at 1-508-820-4300 if you have not already done so.
This way you will have an OW badge ready with your name, etc.
If you have already registered, you are all set.

For DOW-96 only, the sole thing you need is an EXHIBITS PASS
(Package E) and if you register before the conference this
is FREE [and/or at no extra cost if you already registered to
other events with Object World.]

NOTE: YOU NEED TO REGISTER WITH OW TO ATTEND THE DOE TUTORIALS,
use Package D for one day of tutorial.
        Object World: 1-508-820-4300

Looking forward to meeting you at DOE/DOW-96.
