Hello,

I'm currently finishing a PhD thesis at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis
in France named ``Integration of Inter-Object Relationships in Class Based Object Model : the FLO language'' in the CNRS (Centre National Recherche
Scientifique) Laboratory I.3.S. under the supervision of Professor P. Franchi.
(See the cv at the end of this mail)

I'm looking for postdoctoral position in object-oriented programming languages.
Here follows a non-exhaustive list of my research interests :

* Design and implementation of Object-Oriented Langages : classes, actors and prototypes,
* Reflective Architectures, Self-Description, Meta-Programming and Open Protocol,
* Distributivity and distributed systems, and
* Machine-Man Interface, Separation between Interface and Application.

I'm motivated by all aspects of Object-Oriented Programming but all proposition
are welcome.

My computer skills are essentially :
 * Languages: CLOS, Lisp (Common Lisp,Le-Lisp, Scheme), Smalltalk-80, Tk/Tcl, Pascal, ML, C, C++, Eiffel, Modula-2, Assembleur (68000).
 * Systems: Unix (SunOS, Linux), MS-DOS.
 * Softwares: Centaur (Language development environment), Latex, Emacs.
 * Theory: Object-Oriented Programming, Meta-Programmation, Meta Protocols, Reflexivity and Constraints.

1993--1996: PhD Thesis in Computer Science named ``Integration of Inter-Object
Relationships in Class Based Object Model : the Flo language'' at the
University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis in the C.N.R.S. (Centre National Recherche
Scientifique) Laboratory I.3.S. under the supervision of Professor P. Franchi.

April--Mai 1995: Invited by Professor Pierre Cointe at the ``Ecole
des Mines'' of Nantes to realize a first implementation of Flo in ClassTalk.

1992-1993:
    * DEA in Computer Science (D.E.A.: Diplome d'Etudes Approfondies
approximatively Master, fifth year) at the University of Nice-Sophia
Antipolis. 2nd of 120 students, Second Class Honour Degree.
    * Master thesis at the I.3.S. Laboratory under the supervision of M. Blay
and E. Gallesio : "Dependencies management in Object-Oriented Languages".
    * Magistere I.S.I. (Informatique et Sciences de l'Ingenieur) third year:
Second Class Honour Degree (the nearest english equivalent is a post graduate qualification.).

                      Research
Phd Thesis: Integration of Inter-Object Relationships in Class Based Object
Model : the Flo language''
I propose a reflexive language which integrates relationship management into
the object oriented paradigm: specification, coherence management. Flo's
implementation is based on the reification of dependencies, control of message
passing thanks to the introduction of computational meta-objects in a
class-based language and, a Clos like open protocol.

My research domains are principally Object-Oriented Programming (class-based
languages, prototype-based languages, improvement of object-oriented languages
expressiveness), Reflexion (Meta-Programmation, open protocols, structural
reflection (languages with metaclasses), computational reflection (languages
with behavioral meta-objects)), Human-Interface (separation and
communication between application parts) and Contraints in Object Programming.
