I've started a GC mailing list as a spin-off from comp.compilers. It
discusses garbage collection in programming languages. Both
integrated garbage collection as in Lisp and "bolt on" collection as
in conservative collectors for C are fair game.

This list is open to all and unmoderated, although the list owner
reserves the right to eject persistently unruly contributors. It
currently is not available as a digest, although I'll add a digested
form in the future if the list volume warrants.

All previous articles are available for FTP at ftp://iecc.com/pub/gclist/
in a file called messages.

To join it, send a message to ·········@iecc.com that contains:

	subscribe gclist

When you get tired of GC and want to leave, send a message to
·········@iecc.com that contains:

	unsubscribe gclist

If you're at a site like CMU which redistributes a single
subscription, you have to join as a write-only member before you can
send in articles. (This is an anti-spam measure.) In that case,
subscribe to gclist-extra rather than gclist.
