Does anybody know of a fix for the following bug in CMUCL 17f Alpha/OSF1:

   * (time 0)
   Compiling LAMBDA NIL: 
   Compiling Top-Level Form: 


   Argument X is not a NUMBER: NIL.

   Restarts:
     0: [ABORT] Return to Top-Level.

   Debug  (type H for help)

   (KERNEL:TWO-ARG-- NIL NIL)
   0] 

The same exact thing works fine in CMUCL 17f SPARC/Solaris.
