This was my problem all along.  Thanks for your help and the info on the 
resources.

By the way, I'm taking Dr. Peng's AI class (this is part of a project) 
and he seems to prefer CAR and CDR to the more recent and intuitive 
procedure names.  He also seems to favor COND to IF, WHILE, etc.

Just didn't want you to think I was some kind of lisp puritan.
