Monday 22nd April - Wednesday 24th April 1996, London, UK
The Commercial Value of Agents:-
An Exploration Through Practical Applications
PAAM96 - The First International Conference and Exhibition on the
Practical Application of Intelligent Agents and MultiAgents is a
totally new conference which aims to demonstrate the use of agent
technology for solving real-world problems in business, industry,
and commerce.
This exciting European Union sponsored event will showcase powerful
industrial and commercial applications of agent-based software, and
include presentations from leading international companies which are
successfully introducing this key technology.
The annual PAAM conference provides a major international forum for
information exchange, and includes plenary sessions, a multi-track
conference, introductory and advanced tutorials, round-table
discussions, and full industrial exhibition. The event will provide
unrivalled insights into leading-edge applications, systems,
development tools, and techniques.
Call for Participation
Multi-agent technology is providing increasing benefit to business
and industry. PAAM96 will deal with a number of key issues. How can
agent technology solve problems faced today? What are the benefits,
rewards, and return on investment? What developments are in the
pipeline for tomorrow? What are the opportunities, and the pitfalls
for software agents?
London in April will provide a pleasant setting and PAAM96 will
provide an informative and interactive tutorial environment, where
delegates can explore the commercial value of agent technology
through practical, fielded, applications.
You are invited to register your interest for this event by completing
the reply form below.
Call for Papers
We invite you to submit a paper or industrial report describing
fielded applications which exploit agent technology. Papers can be of

Since PAAM96 focuses on the real-world benefits of agent technology,
preference will be given to papers describing fielded applications,
especially in the business arena. Also of interest are descriptions of
advanced prototypes, tools and techniques, and general survey papers
which indicate the future direction this important technology will take.
Five copies of papers should be submitted by January 26th 1996. Please
include a short abstract and a covering page containing full contact
details, including postal and email addresses, and your telephone and
fax
numbers.
Call for Demonstrations, Workshops and Tutorials
The conference also provides an opportunity for software vendors and
developers to demonstrate Agent systems. You are invited to contact the
organiser to arrange for your application to be exhibited at the event.
If you would like to organise a workshop or tutorial, or wish to see a
particular topic covered, please contact us.
