Subject: Pop-up menus in CLIM?

I hope this isn't a really silly question: I did try to find if the answer
was already online.

I want to create a pop-up menu in CLIM (running on Lucid CL+CLOS). I can
see how to create and display a menu by using the :command-menu option in
a :pane description in define-application-frame, but I don't understand
how to have the menu popup when a mouse is clicked on a box. The idea is
to allow the user to change a default in my application by selecting one
of a list of all possible values which should appear when they click on
the original value. This list of all possible values is stored in one CLOS
instance elsewhere in the application, and the current chosen one in a
different CLOS instance.

I've been fighting my way through the Lucid CLIM manual but find it hard
going, so if anyone could recommend any other accessible material on
building interfaces with CLIM I'd be really grateful.
