astrophysics programs, now placed 380 miles above the Earth's surface,

We have an immediate opening for a versatile software engineer to join our
Software Support Team. The position involves requirements analysis, design,
development and testing of software to support observation preparation,
planning and scheduling on the Hubble Space Telescope.
Requirements:
+ Masters in Computer Science or equivalent experience and training
+ Experience with OOD/OOP, Lisp and at least one UNIX Scripting Language (Tcl/
Tk preferred)
+ Ability to learn new Technologies, Programming Languages and Problem Domains
quickly and to work independently in a fast-paced environment
+ Familiarity with several of the following: Scheduling Algorithms, Constraint
Satisfaction Problems, Expert Systems, Artificial Intelligence, GUI
Development, TCP/IP Sockets, Client/Server Architecture, SQL DBMS
+ An interest in Satellites and Space-Based Astronomy
