Franz Inc. is a Berkeley based company specializing in Common Lisp and
development tools. We offer challenging and interesting work which
also involve close customer interaction in developing and deploying
innovative new software.
We have two potential positions:
(1) Work on CLOS persistent database. Requirements include C and C++
expertise, Common LISP expertise, UNIX or PC (Windows and Windows NT)
system experience. Object-Oriented database experience preferred.
(2) Work in PC User Interface in CLOS and Common Lisp. Requirements
include familiarity and experience in the Windows API, and experience
building User Interfaces which use the Windows widgets using tools
such as MFC or OWL. CLOS/Common Lisp experience preferred. Emacs
experience preferred. OLE 2.0 and OCX understanding preferred.
Each position requires the ability to interface with customers while
juggling a demanding technical schedule. Each position requires the
successful applicant to be full-time onsite, with occasional travel.
