Can anyone shed some light on what is going to happen to the Lucid
product line and support for same? Lucid itself is apparently not
operating, and Franz says their acquistion offer was rejected. There
are rumors of a buyout by someone else (Harlequin, perhaps?), but that's
about all I've heard.
It looks like users of Lucid Lisp will soon have a support option.
I know this only by gossipping with people involved, so I'm not
shedding much light.
I have also heard that at least one company has started reselling the
C/C++ compiler -- maybe all of Energize, I don't know, or care particularly.
