For a project with an industrial partner we would need a Lisp -> C
Compiler that compiles the non graphical part of our CommonLisp system
into C in a manner, that the resulting C can easily be interfaced with
other C code. The Target Platform is probably a DEC-Alpha under unix and
perhaps even open/vms.

The FAQ mentions CLICC, ECoLisp and the Lisp-to-C Translator from
Chestnut. Has anybody experiences with any of these three compilers? Since
CLICC currently does not run on Alphas and Alphas are not mentionned for
ECoLisp, is Chestnut the only choice?

All hints welcome
