(I've already tried gnu.emacs.help, and nobody there seemed to know
about the problem. If anybody has any other suggestions, I'd be glad
to hear them.)

In GNU Emacs 19.19.2, lisp-send-defun doesn't recognize the
*inferior-lisp* process, as the C-h help claims it does. Anybody know
   how to fix this?

Thanks,

Are you using ilisp? If not, you should definitely check it out.
