   Hi all,
This might be a naive lisp question, but please advise.
In the process of interfacing code I have to transform the return of
a function which is a string into an atom.
coerce does not seem to solve the problem.
   Any suggestions?
   Regards,

Is this an homework assignement? There was another message with the
same request.

It all depends what is the function doing and how you are interfacing
with. 'read' may be enough.
