		  COMPUTATIONAL LINGUIST / PROGRAMMER
			     (Boston Area)

Computational linguist with excellent programming design and
implementation skills wanted for a project in conceptual information
access.

Must be experienced in computational linguistics and Lisp programming.
Specifically, experience in parsing, grammar, morphological analysis
and discourse structure is desirable.  Experience in information
retrieval and C and C++ would be a definite plus.

This person will take major responsibility for system development,
integration, and testing of an ongoing prototype information access
system.  Must be able to work with other researchers and developers.
Must have the ability to plan and carry out independent research and
experimentation, to build and integrate tools and infrastructure for
experimentation, to develop application prototypes, and to work with a
small group to plan and implement systems and carry out experiments.
