Does anyone have experience using the DOS implementation of Medley
Lisp? I am particularly interested in the issue of speed. The Venue
people say they do not have any benchmarks available. My
understanding is that their implementation makes a speed-for-space
tradeoff, i.e. compact byte-coded execution files which run slower
than binaries. How much slower? Has anyone compared DOS Medley with
other Lisp implementations, such as Allegro CL/PC on a 486 or Lucid
CommonLisp on a Sparc 2?
