Is there a shareware LISP out there (Ultrix or Mac) that I can get from and FTP site? I would like to try LISP, but my budget is $0.00. I am a junior high student, and am already proficient with BASIC and am quickly learning Pascal. If you could tell me the FTP site (if there is one)...

Ja! (Ultrix) CLISP, available at ma2s2.mathematik.uni-karlsruhe.de
(comes under GNU Public License, I believe)

There are binaries for several architectures (I wanted to list them here, but
my $# ><|{-> ftp is stuck again!)

and the sourcecode (for unix, os/2, etc.) The sources may need some adjustment.

Check it out!
