Subject: Foreign Function Interface under CLISP?

Can anyone update me on the Foreign Function (C) Interface development under
CLISP - we're wishing to use the PVM mangager (Parallel Virtual Machine) for 
Parallel processing under (C)LISP; (we've got an initial trial working well
under Allegro, but CLISP has a bigger platform distribution (i.e. Dec Aplhas)).

Another area of use of the FFI: we're looking at hooking up PlotMTV 
(scientific X11/postscript display/plotting app), as a GUI to data generated 
by our package......
