Subject: Any LISP systems use MACH's external pager facility

Some years ago, I thought I read a paper which described a LISP system
which used MACH's external pager facility to help in type-checking.
However I have looked in all the obvious (to me at least) places, and I
am unable to find any references to it.
Of course it might have been my imagination, and I was just reading
about the external pager facility in general and thought 'Hey I can use
that in a LISP system'.
If anyone has such a reference, then I would be grateful for it.
