i'm after a common-lisp for windows. must:
** access to lottsa memory,
** not be slowed down by BIG applications;
** have a good garbage collector.
** generate FASLs or stand-alones (optional)
** windowing and graphics primitives.
after a quick browse thru comp.lang.lisp.FAQ, i see 4 main options:
** GCL
** muLisp-90
** CLOE
** xlisp
anyone care to rank these? assess them according to my needs?
suggest others?
and while we're here, what's the current situation with delivering LISP
systems on windows/OS-2. the prolog world has some very mature systems
that are viable commercial development packages. where are we in lisp?
