Subject: Files needed for EMACS LISP compiler?

Could someone tell me what files are needed to add a LISP compiler to
a minimal version of GNU EMACS? The version of EMACS that I'm using
has no LISP compiler and I'd like to add it. I've looked around
several FTP sites and haven't been able to figure out what files to
snarf to get this to work. I'd hate to have to re-compile the entire
EMACS package, since I only have about 4MB free on my hard disk at
present.

I'd really like to get a version of common LISP working on this system
(AT&T 3B1). I have SPICE LISP running on my PERQ, but that's in the
basement and I can't easily move it around the house as easily as I
can put a terminal attached to the 3B1 wherever I want it... such as
next to a nice comfortable chair in the living room or outside on the
patio. :-) Too bad there's no such thing as a portable PERQ. :-)
