I am looking for a good and complete introduction in Lisp and -
especially - CLOS programming. I m using Lisp now for a few months and
actually drown in bunches of functions. I got Guy L. Steele s book, which
helps a lot regarding syntax problems, but - "if you have a latin
dictionary that does not mean you can speak latin".

   Thanks in advance ....

IMHO, the best introduction in Lisp is Winston and Horn's book ``LISP'', 3rd
edition (Addison-Wesley). But beware: the also available german translation of
the book is only based on the 2nd edition which is not as complete as the third
one.
