CALLING ALL MULTIMEDIA ARTISTS!
The Banff Centre for the Arts is creating an educational videotape
in collaboration with the Multimedia Communications 1993 Conference,
sponsored by the International Council for Computer Communication,
April 13-16, Banff, Alberta.
The videotape will contain edited video documents of selected new
media art works. Video representations of works originally produced
for exhibition as Virtual Reality, Multimedia, Interactive Audio and/or Video,
Installation, Net projects, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, will be
considered. The package will be curated by Sara Diamond, Director of the Banff
Television and Video Program.
The video compilation will be screened as part of this prestigious
international conference and will also be packaged for home viewing. Print
materials will accompany the video.
Artists who are selected will be paid a $700.00 CDN fee.
Deadline for receipt of videos: Friday, March 19, l993.
To be considered for inclusion, please submit:
3/4", Betacam or high quality VHS documentation, a description including
original media, an exhibition record of the work and a current C/V of the
artist.
