Hello, netter:

I am trying to install clisp on my iris machine which
runs unix sysv r3. The following is the error message
I got from the compiler (cc) :

	cc -O -ansi -c spvwtabf.i
cc: Error: Unknown character in -ansi
ccom: Error: spvwtabf.d, line 16: syntax error
        global struct fsubr_tab_ fsubr_tab_data
      --------------^
*** Error code 1

Stop.

can anyone figure out what happens and what should I do ?
