First off, does anybody know where Betz or Almy are?
I want to send them this. If anybody else can help, I'm open to suggestions!
Subject: Some questions about XLISP 2.1d
To: ยทยทยทยท@sail.labs.tex.com <=== This address is NOT valid
1) Is it possible to compile code? How?
2) How can I make a two-dimensional array? For that matter, AREF doesn't
seem to work, even on one-dimensional arrays. It complains about "bad
argument type" regarding the index.
3) What are the absolute primitives for the graphics driver? I want to write
something fairly fast for my specific machine. Can I "read" a pixel?
4) Have you noticed that (- 2113498570984562843858 1) and the like don't
come up with the right answer?
5) Is there something like the Pascal KEYPRESSED, that would return T if
and only if a key had been pressed?
6) Is 2.1d the latest version, and if not, where do I get the next one?
Despite all of these problems, I've found XLISP to be quite useful and
easy to use. Thank you for your time.
