Hello LISPerts:

Following my previous inquery about LISP graphic object
system, sereral exports provided me with the valuable information. We
will choose one of them to implement our graphical presentation
interface soon.

To display a software graphical model on the screen, we need
to attach the view information (positions) to the objects. We are
using an Automatic Grapher to perform the layout. However, this
grapher has certain restrictions since it was based on the FUZZY
theory, RULE based layout approach, such as preparing examples to
generate layout rules. And more importantly, it is suitable for
Entiy-Relation model diagrams. If you are interested, I can send
a conference paper of it.

Therefore, to consider the possible Non-ERA model graphs as
input of our system, I am looking for the general Hierarchical and
PLannar graph layout LISP prototypes or implmentations to borrow for
our system. I have theEDGE in C++ (Sugiyama's variation).

Thank you very much for your kind responses in advance.

P.S. Dr. Thomas Berlage, special thanks for your help and information.
