Hello,

first time I am posting! Hope everything goes smoothly.

Here is a (probably) FAQ about CLX. Does anybody know where I can find
a manual, or whether is there a published manual?

Thanks a lot
Have a nice day

If you have a PostScript(TM) printer and the X11R5 tapes, you can
print yourself a beautiful reference manual. The PS files are in
mit/hardcopy/CLX in the X distribution. In mit/doc/CLX you find the
source files of the documentation in (I think) Interleaf format.

These files can also be FTPed from export.lcs.mit.edu, directory
/pub/R5untarred/mit/hardcopy/CLX and /pub/R5untarred/mit/doc/CLX.

Unfortunately, the manual is several years out of date. (1989) Are people interested in an up to date version? (I don't have one yet, but I'm considering it.)

CLX is a relatively huge library, and I don't know of any concise
document that describes all the functions in one or two lines. Would
be useful!

There is a fine manual, but it has about 232 pages. See below on
where to find it.
