Excuse me for using your bandwidth, as I'm not a LISPer, but this is
posted for a co-worker:

For my grad. school work, I plan on taking an Artificial Intelligence
Concepts course this fall.  The problem: some homework will involve
programming in LISP.  Would anyone know where I can obtain a public
domain copy of the language or where I can order a non-public domain
version?

As I do not read this newsgroup and he has no news access, please respond
by e-mail to me or directly to him.  If you respond to me, I promise to
post a summary, unless it's just to point me to a FAQ (which is fine
by me).
