Hi all. I am looking for a book that talks about implementing a
LISP system (interpreter). There are several books on LISP out
there, of course, but I would like to find something that details
the internals of the 'typical' lisp system.

Any pointers would be great

If you are interested in looking at the guts of a lisp implmentation, you may
want to dig in KCL and AKCL. If this is too big of a task (figure out the
code) I recommend to look into the implementation of XLisp (available via ftp
from many sites (including wuarchive.wustl.edu)
