Well, it was a while ago that I posted the original article, but here's a summary
of what I found out:

The original question was what books are recommended for teaching a course in
functional programming.  I didn't get too many answers -- I probably should have
posted to comp.edu instead.  The answers I got were surprisingly similar.
Sussman and Sussman's book _Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs_
and Norvig's book _Paradigms of Artificial Intelligence Programming_.
