[I'm forwarding this note from the folks at ILA...]

Common Lisp Interface Manager (CLIM) 1.0 is available for MCL 2.0.

CLIM provides a portable Common Lisp UIMS that allows sophisticated
user interfaces to be delivered across a range of Lisp implementations
and hardware platforms. Currently, CLIM is available for Unix
workstations running Lucid (SUN) Common Lisp or Franz's Allegro Common
Lisp (using X Windows as the back-end in each case -- CLIM integrates
well with Motif); 386 PCs running Symbolics CLOE (using MS-Windows as
the back end); all Symbolics Lisp Machines running Genera release 8;
and the Macintosh running MCL 2.0.

CLIM's features fall into four broad categories:

1) Graphics -- CLIM provides a rich graphics model, featuring affine
transforms, sophisticated inking control, and a large set of drawing
operations.

2) Output Recording/Formatting -- CLIM provides a set of tools for
capturing output (both text and graphics), analyzing it, repositioning
it, and replaying it. CLIM has several built-in packages for tabular
data formatting, graph formatting, menu layout, etc.

3) Presentations -- CLIM provides tools for building
presentation-based user interfaces. This means that you can associate
semantics (application data objects) with displayed output so that
later the application can retrieve this data by allowing the user to
click on it.

4) Application Support -- CLIM provides mechanisms for defining
and customizing the "look and feel" of the application interaction
style.

Requirements:

A Macintosh with 8 megabytes of memory. [This is not a hard and
fast requirement, but we do not recommend running MCL, CLIM, and
your application with a smaller configuration.]

MCL 2.0B1p3 or greater. (We distribute patches p1 through p3
with CLIM 1.0 beta.)

Macintosh System 6.x or 7.0 are both acceptable.

Price:

$495 US dollars, plus shipping and handling (typically $15 - $20).
CLIM is currently available as a beta version; the official release
will be made available shortly after MCL 2.0 is officially released.
Any customer of the CLIM 1.0 beta software will be upgraded for free
to the official release.
