Many thanks to Lawrence Widman and Thomas M. Breuel; thanks to
their very generous assistance, I have successfully gotten AKCL 1530
to compile on my Esix system.
For those attempting this -- be really careful with file dates -- it
makes all the difference in the world. I guess I somehow mixed them
up the first time I tried the compile, and it failed. Make sure the
file dates in the akcl directory are newer than the ones in kcl.
Also allow for plenty of time -- the build took 4 or 5 hours on a
otherwise lightly-loaded 386/25!
