I am trying to call-by-reference using Lucid's foreign function call
interface (actually, HP Common Lisp II).  The documentation eludes
to the fact that this can be done by passing in one-element arrays.
However, I have yet to succeed in specifying the "define-c-function"
call to accomplish this.  I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who
has done this.

HP's customer support was NO help at all, and I don't think we can
contact Lucid directly.  Also, is there a more specialized mailing
list for Lucid lisp users?
