In the last byte (January 1990) I saw that Pearl Lisp should be available
public domain. How can I obtain a copy of it (ftp?).
Is there also any documentation available?

The mention in Byte was a mistake. Look for a correction in a
future issue.
Apple distributed Pearl Lisp (with documentation) on a free Developer
CD. It was later pulled off the CD, (possibly after complaints from
competing Lisp vendors). If you can get a copy of the original
version of `bill and ed's excellent cd', you should have it.
(disclaimer: I'm not sure if `bill' and `ed' are the correct names).
