Hi Netters,

Here I am again! First of all let me thank to all you guys who replied to
my earlier posting for LISP interpreter on IBM-PC (available). Your replies
were really helpful and informative indeed.

My requirement is however different. I would appreciate if any of you netters
can give me pointers as to finding info on journal references for interpreter
writing. I would appreciate any sort of information, except on the interpreters
(LISP) I can buy (GCLISP et al).

Thanks in advance.

Rajesh

Subject: Question on SUN4 Common LISP and C IPC

I'm currently trying to write a user interface for a LISP system using
sunview. Does anyone out there have any experience in doing this and can offer
any advice?

It seems that passing arguements back and forth between a C
process and the LISP process is done on the return of a function. If so, the
sunview window, in order to return an input, would have to die or use
a global variable that the LISP process can poll and determine any change
of state. Neither solution is particularly appealing. As they say on the
network, Thanks in advance.
