Yet another...
Don't call TRUNCATE with the divisor = 0
[i.e. (truncate x 0) ]
This will crash you out of ACL & foul up the MAC enough to require a re-boot
to fix the resulting confusion...
Of course (truncate x 0) on a mac II with the same software does the 'right thing'
and tells you not to try division by zero...
your mileage may vary...

[deleted description of a 'bug' with Allegro Common Lisp on a Mac IIx]
This "Yet another" scares me; this is the first I've heard of. Are there
really many? I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy a Mac IIcx
(I must decide within about a week) and one of the primary things I'd
probably do on it is run Allegro. Would you say that this is foolhardy?
Are there just a few avoidable bugs or is it much worse? I'd really
appreciate any help anyone could give me.
Thanks much -Lee
